Waves of Wellbeing has officially launched!
It’s finally here! The first creature and theme in the Waves of Wellbeing series has officially arrived! The team have worked so incredibly hard to bring this to you, and they were flat out in the run up to our Christmas break. This week’s theme is all about ‘Coping With Changes‘, and it’s COMPLETELY FREE TO DOWNLOAD! That’s right, the first week is COMPLETELY FREE. That means if you have a STARTER, you can come and give Wellbeing Wednesday a try, and we think you’ll love it so much that you’ll want to grab an ULTIMATE membership to check out the rest of the series.
For every wellbeing theme featured in our brand new #WavesofWellbeing scheme, we produce an animated story! You’re also in for a treat as we have some FANTASTIC resources for you to get your hands on, including amazing stories, Mindful Colouring, Journals, Display Focuses and so much more! It’s our biggest and best Wellbeing Wednesday yet!
If you haven’t checked out our Essential Resources yet, they serve as the PERFECT preparation for Waves of Wellbeing.
From there, make sure you grab an ULTIMATE MEMBERSHIP for access to all 12 weeks of Wellbeing, including ALL activities and animations. And trust me when I say, you do NOT want to miss these animations. They’re our best ever! (well actually, Bookimations, you’ll see why when you see Week 1).

It’s Time For The Return of Fill Your Bookshelf! (And You Can Win a Copy)!
New term, new books! Phil is back for Fill Your Bookshelf, and he’s kicking things off with a wonderful new suggestion for your bookshelves. This weeks review is on ‘Marcy and the Riddle of the Sphinx‘ by Joe Todd-Stanton. Phil says:
“This is the second book that we have reviewed by Joe Todd-Stanton, having previously looked at the fantastic The Secret of Black Rock. Marcy and the Riddle of the Sphinx in an exciting and engaging adventure story which involves the main character travelling to Ancient Egypt.
Joe Todd Stanton’s instantly recognisable illustrations are beautiful, intricate and full of humour. The story is exciting with Marcy, the initially reluctant adventurer, developing into an incredibly likeable, brave and heroic lead character.
At over 50 pages long, this book is more graphic novel than picture book and would be perfectly suited for using in KS2. With plenty of references to gods and goddesses of Ancient Egyptian mythology it would be perfect to read as part of an Ancient Egypt topic, but is equally enjoyable as a standalone read.“
How do you fancy winning a copy of the book? Of course you do! We are running a competition on our social media accounts! If you have a Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account, then head to our pages to find out how to enter.
