Celebrating Diwali KS2 activities helps pupils learn about the Festival of Lights and its significance within Hindu, Sikh and Jain traditions. Through discussion, creative tasks and reflective learning, children explore themes such as light overcoming darkness, good over evil and the importance of family and community. These Diwali KS2 activities support RE teaching in Key Stage 2 by developing pupils’ understanding of religious festivals while encouraging respect for different beliefs and cultural practices in the classroom.
