Studying Islam in KS2 helps pupils build a clear understanding of Muslim beliefs, values and ways of life through structured RE learning. These Islam KS2 teaching resources support lessons on key concepts such as Allah, the Qur’an, the Five Pillars of Islam and the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), as well as important practices including prayer and fasting. Classroom activities promote discussion, reflection and respectful understanding, helping pupils see how beliefs influence daily life and behaviour. Using Islam KS2 teaching resources supports National Curriculum expectations and encourages pupils to make meaningful comparisons with other religions studied in KS2.
