Curiosity on the Internet Click Safe Activity for Safer Internet Day

Internet Safety is at the forefront of primary education and teaching children about how to be safe whilst online is essential in this digital climate. This activity allows children to decide or evaluate how online sources make you want to click on them. This will teach them about which sources are true or real and which sources are fake and should not be trusted. Give out as an independent or paired activity and check answers together as a whole class. A great resource to support teaching and learning of e-safety.

The world is ever-changing, and technology is becoming more and more a part of our daily lives; for young people growing up, it is paramount that they learn from an early age just how powerful the internet is but alongside this, learn some of the best ways to stay safe whilst online.

This year’s theme for Safer Internet Day is “An internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world” and we have created a range of resources for early years, key stage one and key stage two, to talk about what the internet is and how to spot a trustworthy source.
