How do you use the internet? Safer Internet Day Activity

After learning about how people use the internet and what children might use the internet for in our What is the Internet Used For? Information posters ask children to reflect on how they use the internet. Children can draw images and write sentences to describe how they use the internet. There are two versions to choose from to suit the needs of your children: one with a sentence starter and wider lines and one with narrower lines.

The world is ever-changing, and technology is becoming more and more a part of our daily lives; for young people growing up, it is paramount that they learn from an early age just how powerful the internet is but alongside this, learn some of the best ways to stay safe whilst online.

This year’s theme for Safer Internet Day is “An internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world” and we have created a range of resources for early years, key stage one and key stage two, to talk about what the internet is and how to spot a trustworthy source.

To check out all our other amazing Safer Internet Day themed resources, simply click the Topic Tags in the sidebar (or below the description if you’re browsing on a mobile).
