Pancake Parlour Tuff Tray Pack

Can the children choose an order and serve it up?

Our tuff tray pack contains everything you need to set up a fun and engaging pancake day themed tuff tray in your classroom this February.
This tuff tray set up is a great way to incorporate number recognition and counting into a fun pancake day themed activity.

The children can come along and work in the pancake parlour by choosing an order to make up. The children will then take a pancake and begin to add the correct number of toppings to match the order.

The pack includes:

  • A challenge card
  • Printable pancake order forms
  • Editable pancake order forms
  • Pancake toppings cut outs
  • Vocabulary labels
  • Pancake Parlour banner

We have included cut out toppings for strawberries, bananas, ice cream, lemon juice, chocolate, sugar and maple syrup.
We would encourage you to use real world items to represent each topping if you can as it will be quicker prep time for you and the children can use tweezers for fine motor skills as they pick each item up and place it on the pancake.

Why not add some frying pans and a sprinkling of flour into the tuff tray too?

The pack also contains editable order forms so that you can create your own to suit the level of your children.

Thank you to our #TufftyTeacher @mrs_c_teach for the brilliant tuff tray resource request.
