The Cheat Book Vol.3 Diary Entry

This Diary Entry writing activity has been created to use in conjunction with the book, The Cheat Book Vol.3 by RAMZEE.

After reading Chapter Four, pupils write a diary entry from JoJo’s perspective following her encounter with AQUILA during the school tour.
Children write in the first person to describe JoJo’s thoughts, feelings and suspicions after the memory wipe and the mysterious blue light moving towards her hand.

This activity is perfect for developing KS2 narrative writing skills, encouraging pupils to explore character voice, emotions and point of view.
It helps children practise empathy, inference and descriptive writing while engaging closely with key events in the story.

Ideal for independent writing, guided reading follow-ups or assessment tasks, this resource supports creative writing, character understanding and deeper comprehension of the novel.
