Three Little Pigs Subitising to 3 Tuff Tray Pack

Bring early number skills to life with this engaging Three Little Pigs Subitising Tuff Tray Activity, designed to help young learners develop rapid number recognition through a familiar fairy tale theme.
Children match subitising cards to the correct house as they explore the story of the three pigs and the big bad wolf.

Using picture cards showing different quantities, children practise instantly recognising small numbers without counting while sorting items to the straw, stick and brick houses.
The playful storytelling context helps children build confidence with early maths while engaging in imaginative play.

This activity works perfectly in tuff trays, maths areas or continuous provision, encouraging children to explore number concepts independently or with adult support.
