The first EYFS/KS1 Display Focus in our Waves of Wellbeing series introduces you to the Hermit Crab, to help children understand about changes, how they can make us feel and how to cope with change.
Our EYFS and KS1 Display Focus, suitable for children in nursery, reception, year 1 and year 2 (aged 3-7), is a great way to create a small, weekly wellbeing display in your classroom. Our simple lift the flap display shows the children the hermit crab, the theme for the week and the children can meet Ruby the Diver, as she asks them “how does change make you feel?”.
The pack also includes your mini bubble to add to our free door display. Add a new bubble each week, to remind the children about all the new wellbeing skills they have learned.

Copyright update regarding 'Home Learning Resource Packs'
Our standard terms, conditions and copyright rules restrict the direct sharing of our resources through online portals, shared drives, school websites and social media. We also ask that resources are not printed and shared amongst teachers.
However we realise that due to the current climate and the nature of these home learning packs means that these rules are restricting the main purpose of the packs: helping teachers to provide a structured home learning experience for their classes.
With this in mind, this, and our other 'Home Learning Resource Packs' will be exempt from the above rules. We do however ask that the packs are not made available for PUBLIC download through any means and are only shared with your immediate colleagues and the parents of the children in your school. Where possible, please continue to direct other teachers to our website to download the resources for themselves.
These amended rules will remain in place for the duration of the school closures. Once the closures are at an end our standard copyright rules, terms and conditions will come back into place and we would expect all copies of the resources as to be removed from shared drives, parent/teacher portals and all services such as see-saw etc.
