Week 8 Wellbeing Bird Enola the Enlightened Eagle – LKS2 Teaching Guide

Enola the Enlightened Eagle is here to teach children about positive thinking and why it is important to look at the bigger picture in tricky situations, to support positive mental health and wellbeing.

Our week 8 LKS2 teaching guide is a quick and easy way to understand what each week’s wellbeing is about. The focus, what children will learn, key questions and vocabulary and what resources to use for the teaching and learning flow, as well as any additional resources available.

NEW for this term: fully differentiated, offering teaching guides for early years,  key stage 1, lower key stage 2, and upper key stage 2.

If you’d like more details and ideas on how to get the most out of our Autumn term Wellbeing Wednesday initiative then why not download our FREE Scheme Overview too.

Learn more about Wellbeing Wednesday

As part of our #WellbeingWednesday campaign, we launched a BRAND NEW set of resources back in 2020, designed to give you everything you need to focus on health and wellbeing in school or at home for all 36 weeks of the school year.
Monsters, Birds and Superheroes went down an absolute storm and now our wellbeing flock is back, with brand new activities, more differentiation, and a big focus on wellbeing around the world.

Let the array of birds from around the world teach you their amazing attributes, to help improve wellbeing and give the children new skills. Download a range of resources to use at home or in the classroom.

On August 29th you can download all our week 1 Roger the Routine Rooster resources completely free! As well as all the resources for weeks 2, 3 and 4, helping you get your wellbeing teaching prepared for the coming weeks.

Weeks 5, 6, 7 and 8 are available to download on September 26th and weeks 9, 10, 11 and 12 on October 24th.

The perfect project to use at the start or the end of the day as a whole class, for small intervention groups, or why not use as a whole school campaign?
