Wellbeing Wednesday Spring Week 2 Worry Box

Wellbeing Wednesday Spring Week 2 Worry Box

As part of our #WellbeingWednesday campaign, we have launched 2020 with a BRAND NEW set of resources, designed to give you everything you need to focus on health and wellbeing in school for all 36 weeks of the school year.
Visit our site every Sunday to download a brand new 5 minute journal activity – perfect to use at the start or the end of the day as a whole class, for small intervention groups or why not use as a whole school campaign?

This week’s additional activity provides you with the resources to make your very own worry box for your classroom and a variety of writing templates the children can use to either share their worries with the teacher or use the box to put away a worry and imagine it floating away – helping to reduce anxiety and encourage them to share their worries.
Use this resource alongside our brand new 36 page morning starter activities and journal pages (releasing as one new page every Sunday), our classroom powerpoint, teaching overview and more!

For even more amazing Wellbeing Wednesday resources simply click the topic tags in the sidebar (or below the description if you’re browsing on a mobile).

You can download this classroom resource with our ULTIMATE membership. Simply (if you haven't already), add an Ultimate Teacher's Pet membership to your basket and checkout, then you're ready to download ALL of our amazing classroom resources. It's that simple!

Thank you. This lesson tied in very well with my Zones of Regulation discussion – Blue Zone. We discussed reading people’s emotions on their faces and the emotions we could be experiencing. The fact that our little monster reminds us to ‘Talk to a Friend’ helps us understand that a a problem shared becomes a problem halved and can reduce our emotional load.
