Enid Blyton has many well known books under her belt ranging from Noddy to The Magic Faraway Tree. However, her world-famous series The Famous Five, has had numerous reincarnations; in the form of films, tv shows, audio dramas, gamebooks and even a handful of parodies created by numerous people through the years.

Malory Towers Trailer – CBBC
Darrell arrives for her first term at Malory Towers – full of midnight feasts, lacrosse games, jolly picnics and a mysterious ghost story there is adventure around every corner!
Malory Towers is a CBBC 13 part drama based on the iconic novels by Enid Blyton following the adventures of Darrell Rivers as she leaves home for the first time to attend an all girls’ boarding school.
A fun classroom activity is to let the kids have a go at making some of the foods found in the ‘Jolly Good Food’ book. Or even letting them go wild and make their own interpretations of some of the foods and drinks found in Enid Blyton’s books.
To add an extra layer to the lesson, why not attempt to make it into a cooking show; a la ‘Ready Steady Cook’ or ‘Come Dine with Me’.
