Smelling Station Activity Pack

Allow the children to explore their sense of smell by setting up a smelling station in your provision. This can be set up on a table or tuff tray. Put out different smells and scents for the children to explore.
Model explicitly how to use the resource to the children, making it very clear that the materials are not to be eaten. Show them how to sniff and smell the pots and record their thoughts into a smell sheet.
Please note that a risk assessment is needed before setting up this activity.
